Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a classic Prince of Persia game that follows the adventures of Sargon. Sargon is a young warrior of a clan called The Immortals. He’s sent on a rescue mission to the cursed city of Mount Qaf to save Prince Ghassan. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a 2D game with secret levels, hidden treasure (Called Time Crystals), and tons of other Metroidvania elements.
You’ll encounter levels along the way that you can’t beat due to a tool that you haven’t received yet. Thankfully, the game lets you pin screenshots to the map so you leave no puzzle unsolved. To that end, there are also dungeon bosses to beat, so Player.com compiled the six most memorable opponents that we faced.

6 Bosses in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown that We’re Jealous Of
We say we’re jealous of these bosses because their powers are convenient. Don’t get us wrong, Sargon has many powerful abilities that control time but we wouldn’t mind stealing theirs too. The best games that are similar to what we described are Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty and Elden Ring. Enjoy the moves and powers of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’s most memorable bosses below.
#1: Jahandar in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Jahandar is a huge manticore whose body parts are deadly weapons. His horns are sharp enough to impale Sargon, while his claws are big enough to turn lesser warriors into mush. Heck, it can also hurl poison and dark magic at players, so always keep your guard up.
You can find Jahandar in the Lower City, where he lies in wait. To beat him, dodge strikes from its poison tail, parry his claw attacks, and keep your distance whenever Jahandar leaps up for a landing strike. Keep track of his movements and you’ll easily eliminate this boss. This boss fight doesn’t hold a candle to some of the toughest video game boss fights. You can read more about those villains here.
#2: Undead Prisoner in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
The Undead Prisoner wields a stone pillar like a club. Despite the sheer size of his weapon, this boss is capable of fast swipes that will tear through your health like it’s wet paper. To dodge his attacks, you must think on your feet. Some of our tips for beating him in a fight are:
- Always use Vengeful Counter during Reckless Attack.
- Slide beneath his attack whenever he lunges at you.
- AoE attacks should be avoided like the plague.
The Undead Prisoner can be found in the Lower City, the same region as Jahandar. For the most part, the fight isn’t as long-winded as the battle against the Fire Giant in Elden Ring. Memories of that fight still send chills down our spines.
#3: Vahram in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Vahram is an extremely versatile fighter that’s capable of long and short-range attacks at lightning-fast speeds. This means that he’ll decimate you at close range if you don’t know how to parry. Stay far away from him for too long and he’ll start hurling waves of red energy that can cover large distances at a fast rate.
To defeat Vahram, always parry his red slashes, dodge whenever he lunges at you, and don’t strike him after a parry. He’s also capable of deploying time spells at you and the most annoying is the slow-motion sphere. Vahram can be found in the Upper City during the questline, The Abducted Prince.
#4: Azhdaha in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Azhdaha can be found in the Pit of Eternal Stands during the main quest, The Darkest of Souls. This boss is a giant serpent with many unique attacks, so gaining some breathing space mid-battle is difficult. Due to his sheer size, finding your way around the battleground is also tricky. However, you gain an advantage by adapting to his moves, such as:
- Don’t be afraid to heal using Bahman’s Breath.
- Its tail is capable of drill attacks that will devastate your health.
- The descending sphere bombs can be dodged.
- Always parry the monster’s projectiles.
#5: Kiana, the Forest Queen in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Kiana is the Forest Queen and that name is well-earned. She wields a lengthy spear with tons of range and yes, she also rides a canine companion. The two are a match made in heaven because Kiana can cross huge distances while riding her beast. Of course, due to the pace at which players will take damage, use Bahman’s Breath whenever possible.
Her spear attacks are also dangerous and yes, you can dodge them; We don’t recommend parrying them. However, you can parry her clone attacks or dodge if you aren’t a parry god. The Forest Queen can be found in Soma in the main quest, The Path to the Sand Prison.
#6: Erlik in the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Erlik is a boar that’s easily larger than life. His horns are made of tough wood, while his fur is grass. Despite his beautiful design, he is a wicked boss because of his tusks. The tusks are capable of demolishing your health in mere moments. However, avoiding the pointy ends of his tusks is easier said than done.
Erlik is a big boar and the fighting space is limited, so your choices must be fast and deliberate. Some tips for quickly eliminating this boss include parrying his charge attacks and sliding under his projectiles. Also, don’t dilly-dally behind him because his hind legs will crush your health bar. You can find Erlik in the Hyrcanian Forest during the main quest, Lost in Mount Qaf.
Our Final Say: Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Also Boasts Beautiful Time Magic Spells
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a beautiful game with many unique bosses. No boss fight feels repetitive and yes, there are more than six bosses in the game. Besides that, you’ll also discover many time-based powers on your journey to rescue Prince Ghassan.
