Today, we will go through the Kirby franchise bosses to find out which are the top 10 hardest bosses for us to take down.
We are only focusing on the main titles because those are the ones that drive most of the players crazy with their boss battles because some of them are extremely difficult.
Now, without further ado, let’s get on to our list of the top 10 hardest bosses in the Kirby Franchise.
1. Magolor EX
The first boss we have on our list is Magolor EX. Now, this boss has two different phases, and there are some pretty difficult phases:
The first phase isn’t too bad, just throwing some basic projectiles and enemies at Kirby. Phase 2 will test you because he has a lot of crazy attacks, even the ability to use these super abilities that Kirby can use as well, hitting Kirby with giant hammers and even swinging giant swords around.
Certainly, some of these attacks are actually very hard to dodge. Definitely not the hardest boss in the Kirby franchise, but it is one of the most annoying, as most players have to grind when they go back to revisit True Arena. It’s always a stretch to finish it.
2. Miracle Matter
We found Miracle Matter in the game very challenging at first, but we love to see how it transfers and changes into all these different types of copy abilities of its own, and Kirby has to kind of play off of its different attacks and take what it has in order to throw it back at him. It’s actually really cool, but I just kept getting beat up by this thing. Recollections of intense battles against Kirby, amidst a flurry of projectiles, provide a nostalgic blend of fun and challenge.

3. Galacta Knight
You can honestly say any Galacta Knight battle because they all have the same gameplay, but Super Star Ultra is truly exceptional. And by “special,” we mean particularly challenging, as not only is this adversary challenging on its own, but he also appears at a crucial point in the True Arena.
And when you’re playing the True Arena, you’ll likely be defeated, and you’ll face this creature near the conclusion of your voyage. It can be challenging because it fights very similarly to Meta Knight and still moves very quickly and erratically like Meta Knight, flinging that lance around.
This time, he has special abilities such as shooting tornadoes, lasers from his lance, and flying across the stage while blasting beams from space. It is true that he can be quite difficult, comparable to Meta Knight, but, in our opinion, a bit more difficult than Kirby Super Star Ultra.
4. Pyribbit DX
Ranked at number four is Pyribbit DX from Kirby Triple Deluxe, a boss that evokes strong feelings of dislike. The True Arena often led to intense battles with this challenging frog, creating a fiery spectacle on the stage in the most sporadic lava bubbles and fire pillars it would shoot at you. It is always so difficult for players to avoid danger. He also has a command grab with his tongue, which actually is extremely accurate, and if he grabs you, he spits you out all over the stage and does extreme damage. It’s not fun at all.
5. Forgo Leon
Forgo Leon is very powerful, not because of himself, but because of the Forgo that’s possessed inside of him. Halfway through the battle, Forgo Leon will separate between him and Forgo. After, it’s kind of a 2v1 where Kirby is just getting wrecked. Forgo’s effect can create all these different energy blasts, which alone are already pretty powerful.
But it’s also the fact that Leon is trying to eat Kirby during the process, just making it very difficult to keep your eye on who you’re fighting. And no matter what ability you have, you have to multi-task and actually play very defensively in this battle, or you will get smoked. This is actually surprisingly difficult.
6. Chaos Elfilis
At number six, we face Chaos Elfilis, and both of his phases are a true challenge. His unpredictable spear swings keep you guessing, making each encounter unique. He even summons duplicates in the background while flinging attacks at you, adding to the chaos. Chaos Elphaless showers you with meteorites and various spear-like projectiles through wormholes.
His soul form is even more intense, unleashing a relentless barrage of laser attacks borrowed from past Kirby bosses. Dodging is a must. He can ignite himself and charge, a move that can devastate Kirby. Chaos Elfilis is a formidable opponent, demanding quick reflexes and careful strategy.
7) Void Termina
At number seven, we tackle Void Termina from Kirby Star Allies, on the Soul Melter EX difficulty. This boss battle is a true test. Initially, you navigate a 3D environment, a unique experience for Kirby games. It is enjoyable but not overly challenging, with an auto-reticle helping you target Void’s weak spots, and dodging is feasible.
The real challenge emerges when facing the Void inside its shell. It unleashed wild projectile attacks in all directions. If it weren’t for Kirby Star Allies’ mechanics, this could have been Kirby’s toughest boss. Combining abilities, resurrecting teammates, and having up to four players eased the battle’s difficulty.

8. Dark Matter
Kirby’s Dream Land 2 brings us a boss that’s just plain annoying — Dark Matter. It might not seem super tough, but dealing with him can be a real headache. You’re supposed to bounce his projectiles back at him, but he’s got some tricky ones you can’t deflect. Plus, he randomly charges at you, and he’s quite the tank, even against a powered-up Kirby. Phase one isn’t too bad, but phase two can drive you crazy.
This battle is all about positioning. Skilled players know where to stand to avoid getting hit because they understand the game’s mechanics. But if you don’t grasp Dark Matter’s movements, you’re in for a beating.
9. Corrupt Hyness and 3 Mage Sisters
At number nine, it’s the Soul Melter version of Corrupt Hyness and 3 Mage Sisters. This battle is pure chaos as you will fight them back-to-back. Hyness uses wooden versions of the sisters, which can be handled if you have a fire ability. But when the Mage Sisters join, it’s a crazy 2v3 fight with electric swords, falling ice, and fire pillars. It’s not about new moves but the overwhelming attacks from all three at once. There’s no break; It’s intense and insane.
10. Soul of Sectonia
Number ten on our list of toughest Kirby bosses is the Soul of Sectonia from Kirby Triple Deluxe. This plant boss takes centre stage in the True Arena and goes all out, making it a truly challenging encounter. Unlike in Kirby Star Allies, Kirby faces this formidable foe solo, and the odds are stacked against him.
There are relentless waves of small plants and enemies attacking him, not to mention the massive Queen Sectonia looming in the background. The fight is divided into around 15 challenging phases, each growing more unpredictable and intense. Laser beams, projectiles, and platform hazards keep Kirby on his toes.
But the challenge doesn’t end there. In the True Arena, Queen Sectonia unleashes a unique and unexpected phase two. It borrows moves from past bosses but presents them in a novel way. This surprise twist can catch players off guard, especially when their health is running low. Queen Sectonia summons minions, zips around the stage, hurls projectiles, and creates chaos, making this boss battle a true test of skill.
