This screen’s visual quality is further enhanced by Xiaomi Longjing Glass, a type of Dragon Crystal glass that offers increased durability and scratch resistance.
Notably, Xiaomi has introduced an “Equal-depth micro-curved screen” on the Xiaomi 14 Pro, making it appear like a straight screen when active while boasting curves on all four sides.
The Xiaomi 14, on the other hand, features a 6.36-inch 1.5K display with a resolution of 2670 x 1200 and a 120Hz refresh rate. This LTPO display can reach an astonishing 3,000 nits of brightness, ensuring that your content comes to life with incredible clarity.

Design

Both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro sport a sophisticated and modern design, with some subtle differences. While the it features a flat display, the “Pro” model boasts a curved screen. Both devices come with ultra-thin bezels and a centred camera hole, adding to their aesthetic appeal. The build quality is top-notch, with most models crafted from a combination of metal and glass. However, there’s a unique variant of the Xiaomi 14 Pro, known as the “Titanium Special Edition,” which sets itself apart with a frame made from titanium, adding a touch of luxury to the device.

Performance
Under the hood, both Xiaomi 14 models are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, built on a 4nm manufacturing process. This chipset features an octa-core CPU with a Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.3GHz, five Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 3.2GHz, and two Cortex-A520 cores clocked at 2.3GHz.
Graphics performance is handled by the Adreno 750 GPU. You can choose between 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and storage options include 256GB, 512GB, or a whopping 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Photography
The Xiaomi 14 Pro, in particular, features a “Light Hunter 900” 50MP main sensor with a proprietary Leica Summilux lens.

This sensor boasts a variable aperture ranging from f/1.42 to f/4.0, allowing for versatile photography in various lighting conditions. The new sensor, although physically smaller, is reported to be 80% brighter, promising stunning low-light performance. Complementing the main sensor is a 50MP telephoto lens and another 50MP sensor for the ultrawide camera, which also doubles as a macro camera.
The Xiaomi 14 also features a trio of 50MP camera sensors, with the same main sensor as the Pro model. However, the ultrawide camera on it lacks autofocus and, consequently, macro capabilities. These camera systems are poised to capture every detail of your world, from breathtaking landscapes to macro shots of the tiniest subjects. With Xiaomi’s commitment to camera innovation, you can expect remarkable photos and videos.
Battery and Charging
Battery life and charging capabilities are critical aspects of any modern smartphone, and the Xiaomi 14 series excels in this department. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is equipped with a 4,880mAh battery, ensuring that it can easily keep up with your daily usage. What’s more, it supports 120W wired fast charging, allowing you to reach a full charge in just 18 minutes. For those who prefer wireless charging, it provides 50W wireless charging, ensuring your device is always ready to go. Even better, the charger you need is included in the box.
The regular Xiaomi 14, while slightly smaller in battery capacity at 4,610mAh, still offers impressive performance. It supports 90W wired charging, delivering rapid charge times. The same 50W wireless charging is available for those who prefer wireless convenience.
