Illuvium is a fantasy Role-Playing Game (RPG) on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain that promises an immersive open-world adventure where players hunt and capture deity-like creatures known as Illuvials. Illuvium employs Unreal Engine 4 to deliver 3D worlds, characters, and gameplay modes that cater to various player preferences. It is also currently in early access and accessible through the Epic Games Store.

Players crash into an alien world and assume the role of a hunter tasked with exploring, capturing beasts, and unravelling the mystery of a cataclysm that shattered the land. Illuvium stands out with detailed regions and environments, all presented as NFTs, including collectables, items, and native creatures crucial to gameplay. 6. Blocklords: Crypto Game with a Medieval Strategy

Blocklords is a mediaeval strategy game that’s been in development by MetaKing Studios since 2019. This game is one of the most anticipated upcoming crypto gaming projects. It is an exploration of crafting a fully decentralised, on-chain game economy. With a focus on various playing styles, including farming, fighting, ruling, and resource management, Blocklords empowers players to carve their own paths and shape their virtual world through their decisions and skills.

The game’s developers have outlined a range of features, including progression and dynasty systems, an in-game store, turf wars, and both Player-vs-Environment (PVE) and Player-vs-Player (PVP) modes. Leveraging Web3 technology, Blocklords enables players to trade, buy, and monetise their in-game experiences, with heroes functioning as tradable digital assets outside the game.

7.ChampionsIO: A Multiplayer Combat Odyssey 

ChampionsIO is a multiplayer combat game currently in pre-alpha playtesting. ChampionsIO is set in Massina with various game modes, including 1v1 combat, 3v3 combat, free-for-all, raid boss PvE, and the recently unveiled Maestro Towers. The game has further solidified its presence by securing a listing on Prime Gaming.

The upcoming Maestro Towers feature is scheduled to launch in early 2024 and will introduce a fusion of the tower defence genre with the dynamic combat reminiscent of Mortal Kombat. Players can customise levels with AI, choose Champions or monsters for defence, and engage in strategic attacks on other towers to earn rewards.
