Stalker 2 Release Date
Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is tentatively slated for release in December 2023, according to the game’s Steam page. However, the release date may be pushed back due to the ongoing war, which has the developers’ attention.
A delay had occurred before when the Ukrainian developers had to relocate to Prague due to the Russia-Ukraine war. The original release date was set for April 28, 2022. Here’s hoping there won’t be any significant hindrances this time.

Set in the disastrous Chernobyl Exclusion Zone (Or simply, the Zone), players will take on a character who arrives there for personal interests or selfless motives. As we approach the Stalker 2 release date in December, we’ll be thrust into an alternate timeline where a second Chernobyl disaster occurred in 2006, 20 years after the first game.
In this storyline, a failed scientific experiment attempting to tap into the “Noosphere”, — a concept of collective consciousness — led to the second disaster. This event has caused the spread of mutation-inducing radiation among the area’s inhabitants. Players can expect to encounter three types of enemies in the game: Mutants, other humans, and unusual weather phenomena.
