Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a terrific DLC that lets you play like 007, meaning you’ll enjoy many espionage weapons. That said, Ripperdocs are players’ favourite establishments in Night City. This is due to the slew of upgrades you can play around with. To that end, Player.com has compiled the 10 best Ripperdoc upgrades in Cyberpunk 2077 and its DLC.

The 6 Best Ripperdoc Upgrades in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Pain
Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t off to the best start, but so far, the game’s many updates have redeemed it. Moreover, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is an absolute pleasure because the standard game’s flaws do not plague it. To that end, below are the best upgrades that will enhance your experience in Night City.
#1: Synaptic Signal Optimizer
Synaptic Signal Optimizer is one of the best upgrades in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty because it increases your health by 60%. We would welcome a 20% health boost with open arms, so a 60% gain is stupendous. With this mod, you’ll outlast many enemies and boss fights while navigating the dark alleys of Night City.
#2: Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan
The Legendary-tiered Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan lets you slow time by 85%, but the effect only applies to your enemies. Unlike the standard Sandevistan, you don’t have to aim and dodge/dash before it’s activated. Instead, you can slow down time at will, similar to David Martinez’s Sandevistan mod in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Other perks of rocking the Militech “Apogee” Sandevistan are:
- It increases headshot damage by 10%.
- It increases critical damage and chance by 12% and 14% respectively.
- Extends the duration by 20% whenever you neutralise an opponent.
#3: Second Heart
Having a Second Heart will come in handy in boss fights where the boss can self-heal. A Second Heart is a second chance at beating your enemies, black and blue. It revives V with 100% health if he flatlines, so it deserves the 30 points in your Cyberware capacity. The Second Heart isn’t infinite, though, needing a 300-second cooldown after use. Other features of this mod that came in handy during combat are:
- It grants 0.5 Health per Attribute Point.
- Second Heart only works during combat.
#4: Ex-Disk
Ex-Disk is a mod for your Frontal Cortex that increases your RAM capacity by 6 if you get the Legendary version. So, if you’re a user of Quickhacks, you’ll enjoy this upgrade, especially as it increases your upload speed by up to 35%. For those perks, the Ex-Disk’s Cyberware capacity is 10. Following the recent updates, you can purchase this upgrade from any Ripperdoc once V’s Intelligence reaches Level 18.
#5: Heal-on-Kill
Heal-on-Kill is a nifty Ripperdoc upgrade that restores 10% of V’s health whenever he neutralises an enemy. It will also set players back a whopping 28,000 Eddies. Gamers who don’t like ducking behind cover during combat will enjoy this mod. For one, taking risks during gunfights will finally pay off. By that logic, you only need to neutralise 10 targets to fully heal.
#6: Cataresist
Cataresist is another Ripperdoc upgrade that lets you play aggressively instead of stealthily. It increases your resistance to all types of damage by 35%. So, the effects of Chemical, Fire, and EMP Grenades are almost halved. However, you must have invested at least 15 points in Cool to unlock this Ripperdoc upgrade.
#7: Netwatch Netdriver MK.5
The Netwatch Netdriver MK.5 is a juicy piece of tech that increases your Netrunning capabilities in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Some of its features are:
- Your Buffer Size is increased to 8.
- Your slots have been increased to 6.
- It increases your Base RAM by 11 points.
This Operating System lets you perform Quickhacks on enemies, which lead to flashy and devastating effects. For one, there’s the Suicide Quickhack, which essentially lets you play God by forcing your targets to commit suicide. This mod also lets you hack up to three enemies simultaneously, but your targets must be within a 6-metre radius.
#8: Gorilla Arms
Grab the Legendary version of the Gorilla Arms and you can punch your way through every scenario. Invest in some proper dashing abilities and you’ll be bobbing your way around bullets and grenades to flatline enemies with a flurry of punches. Thankfully, there are also different versions of the Gorilla Arm for players to choose from.
There are Physical, Thermal, Toxic, and Electrifying Gorilla Arms to pick from. Of course, the Physical Gorilla Arms deal the most raw damage, but the others will poison, electrify, or fry enemies over time. So, the choice is really up to you.
#9: Immovable Force
The Immovable Force is a Ripperdoc upgrade that’s exclusive to Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. It will take up 35 points of Cyberware capacity, making it one of the most demanding Chromes to see the light of day in Night City. It’s such a memorable upgrade because it reduces gun recoil by 22%. Other perks of this Ripperdoc upgrade are:
- It reduces bullet spread by 25%.
- The effect is permanently active when using ranged weapons, which include knives.
You can purchase this Ripperdoc upgrade from Dogtown Ripperdocs or simply obtain one via Airdrops. It’s worth the Eddies and then some, since it essentially grants your ranged weapons laser-like focus. Still, it’s not the best build for Cool players.
#10: Projectile Launch System
There’s nothing that screams power more than launching rockets straight from your hands. You can choose from a variety of Projectile Launch Systems including ones that deal Electrifying, Physical, and Chemical damage. Players can also charge the projectiles to deal extra damage, but you’ll need to gain some distance from foes to pull this off. It’s also pretty expensive, costing upwards of 30,000 Eddies in Cyberpunk 2077. You must also be at Level 10 to unlock this Ripperdoc upgrade. The rarity of this chrome increases as you level up.
Our Final Say: Ripperdocs Are Your Friends
The Police aren’t your friends in Night City, but the Ripperdocs are. It’s an unstated law that Ripperdocs shouldn’t be harmed since they hold a lot of Night City’s residents together (Body parts and all). Walk into a Ripperdoc with your gun unholstered and V will immediately put it away. To get the upgrades of a lifetime, always visit the nearest Ripperdocs whenever you have the chance. Who knows? CD Projekt Red’s future updates or sequel might add other wonderful Ripperdoc upgrades.
