Fury kills are as difficult as they sound because you must kill four enemies in quick succession. Also, you must repeat that step three times without dying in-between. Operator Fury Kills are harder to pull off in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 but that’s the basis behind the multi-kill variant. If you pull one off, your teammates will know, and so will your opponents too. So, expect many guns to be aimed at your head during fights, thus leaving them open to easy kills courtesy of your teammates. In short, Player.com has always assembled its crew wisely and you should too.
That said, Fury Kills are useful challenges because of the rewards you can receive by completing them. For one, the TAQ Eradicator is currently up for grabs. However, you must complete five of the challenges from Season 0, week four. One of those challenges is getting three Fury Kills so you’re in for a treat. Down the line, we expect to find other rewards tied to Fury Kills.

Tips for Getting Fury Kills
Fury Kills are difficult to execute and even the tips below won’t give you a definite edge; Especially if you aren’t a seasoned player of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. At least, you’ll know how to spot certain opportunities when playing.
- Use Molotov Cocktails: For maps with limited space, don’t forget to throw at least two Molotov Cocktails at the enemy’s spawning spot.
- Choose the Right Maps: Choose maps such as Shipment, South Street, Center Street, and Rust because they’re tiny compared to the others.
- Play on PC: Build a great PC rig for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and watch your success rate go through the roof.
- Run and Gun: Your approach matters and the best strategy is to run and gun down opponents at the same time. A kill-to-death ratio exists and you need to keep it intact.
- Your Guns Matter: Go for guns with high firing rates and if possible, modify them to have less recoil and also, a higher firing rate. Rival-9 is a great option.
Top 5 Weapons for Racking Up Fury Kills in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
The tricky aspect of Fury Kills is that most weapons can’t keep up with your desire to rack up consecutive kills. To that end, you’ll find five weapons that shoot faster than you can control. Major tip: Make sure you line them up as they spawn before you let loose the leads. In the meantime, check out the best shooter games for the Nintendo Switch.
#1: Rival-9
Rival-9 is an SMG with tons of potential in the way of upgrades and perks. Also, it’s one of these guns that is never nerfed, regardless of the iteration or update. It’s also perfect for smaller maps, especially with parts such as the:
- Monolithic Suppressor S, which makes you undetectable by radar.
- DR-6 Handstop is an under-barrel that increases your walking speed when aiming.
- MTZ Marauder for better recoil, firing aim stability, and aiming idle sway.
Naturally, you should opt for an extended magazine so you won’t have to reload often during matches. The Rival-9 is also perfect at flanking and destroying gamers who prefer MCW Assault Rifles. Thankfully, it’ll shine against PC players too, which is a reality because it supports crossplay like EA Sports FC 24. To bolster your stats, wear a tac mask, a pair of tactical boots, and scavenger gloves.
#2: Pulemyot 762
The Pulemyot 762 is a top-notch light machine gun that can spray enemies to death within a heartbeat. Nevertheless, it’s still a big gun so sliding around will be difficult because of your lack of mobility. So, the gun is slow and unresponsive, at least when compared to SMGs. On the bright side, you’ll get plenty of power back in return. It’s perfect for mid-to-long-range combat so you can keep Rival-9 users at bay.
The only way to upgrade this gun is to reduce the recoil while increasing its accuracy. To do that, some of the best add-ons are:

- The SZ Mini is perfect for mid-range combat but you can discover other alternatives if you dig a little deeper.
- The Ivanov ST-70 Grip affects the gun’s accuracy the most and in a good way. Killing enemies from afar becomes easier.
- The Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip gives you a better grip over your LMG by stabilising your sim as you shoot.
- The VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor greatly increases bullet velocity, which is good for a gun with little mobility. It also greatly helps with your recoil control.
#3: The VTOL Jet
The VTOL Jet is a Killstreak that stands for Vertical Take-Off and Landing. It’s an aerial vehicle that’s loaded to the max with guns and rocket launchers. It’s quite the weapon because you can control the jet yourself to gun down your enemies. Another option is to assign a spot for the VTOL Jet to patrol and guard. A plus is that you don’t need to shoot enemies yourself since the jet will kill any visible foe by itself.
You can unlock this Killstreak at Level 35. Yes, it won’t be unlocked in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 by default. Remember that the VTOL Jet can be destroyed by enemy rocket launchers so you’re far from invincible. However, it comes in clutch on several occasions.

#4: MCW (AR)
MCW (AR) is one of the best weapons for racking up kills in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. They’re not heavy enough to affect your mobility and at the same time, they pack a lot of punch for combat. That said, the gun shines during long-range combat, so be sure to keep your distance. As a result, the MCW (AR) is weak against SMGs because of its slow draw time. To upgrade this gun, some of the parts that you should gun for are:
- The Shadowstrike Suppressor hides your shots from the mini-map without affecting your stats.
- Use the 16.5-inch MCW Cyclone Long Barrel to increase your gun’s bullet speed. Also, it’ll extend its range.
- The RB Regal Heavy Stock, on the other hand, helps suppress your gun’s recoil.
To complete your load-out, equip the right gear, such as the Assassin’s Vest, Commando Gloves, Covert Sneakers, and EOD Padding. We particularly enjoy using the Commando Gloves because they enable reloading while sprinting.
#5: Lockwood 680
Lockwood 680 is a capable shotgun that’s unlocked as soon as you reach Level 4. Its strengths are its average fire rate, great mobility, and devastating damage. This means that it’s an absolute monster in close-range combat because two or three shorts are enough to eliminate multiple targets at once. Did we also mention that the Lockwood 680 is very accurate? That said, this is still a shotgun so you’ll have to deal with recoil issues by upgrading its parts.
- Use the Crown Breaker Choke to increase your gun’s accuracy.
- The Sawed-Off mod lets you increase your mobility by a long shot.
- The Bryson Hammerforged Long Barrel is the best attachment for increasing your range and damage.
Our Final Say: Use Explosives More in Operation Fury Kills
Nothing beats explosives in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Luckily, there are different routes to causing big explosions, including Killstreaks, armed explosives, and rocket launchers.
