The opening season of Diablo 4 is nigh, and we’re anticipating an enthralling contest to secure essential in-game elements that will amplify our immersion throughout the game. This exciting experience is set to be enabled by the Diablo 4 Battle Pass, providing us with an assortment of items, cosmetics, and more should we decide to engage in this feature.
Introducing a Battle Pass system is increasingly common in many live-service games. This feature will be instrumental in enabling an active and engaged Diablo 4 community. With the Malignant season soon upon us, the battle pass presents a unique incentive to outperform our adversaries while reaping the rewards it offers as we progress.

Diablo 4 Battle Pass Release Date

Mark your calendars for 20th July 2023, as that’s when the Diablo 4 Battle Pass goes live, aligning with the first season’s debut. The Battle Pass promises an array of tantalising rewards, some of which we can confirm as of this moment:
However, getting your hands on these rewards requires more than just owning the Battle Pass. You’ll need to earn “Favor points”, to elevate your progression and, in return, unlock these desirable rewards.
To stay on the rewarding track, you can accumulate Favor by completing quests, participating in and finishing events, defeating enemies, accomplishing the season’s objectives, and rounding off the “Season Journey”, chapters in the game.
Diablo 4’s Battle Pass will come in two flavours: Free and premium. The complementary Battle Pass will feature a compact, 27-tier structure. In contrast, the premium Battle Pass expands to include an additional 63 tiers, totalling a grand 90 tiers when coupled with the free pass. Remember, you have a three-month window in season 1 to conquer all tiers and claim your hard-earned rewards.

Diablo 4 Battle Pass Premium

Free version that provides rewards to all players and a premium version that can be purchased for $10. The latter contains only cosmetic rewards, including two complete armor sets, a seasonal mount, and mount armor. For players looking to fast-track their progress, there’s the “Accelerated tier“, which can be activated for an additional $25.
The Accelerated tier lets you instantly secure all the rewards, with no progression required and even unlocks an extra reward for your collection. One handy feature is activating the Diablo 4 Battle Pass premium retroactively.
If you upgrade to the premium version later in the game, you’ll receive rewards based on your progress. It’s calculated that you’ve had the premium tier from the outset, ensuring you get all potential rewards.
