DLC packs have now become a staple that arrives with every new video game that’s released and WWE 2K24 is no different. Even though WWE 2K24 isn’t your typical story mode-based game, where the DLC would show extra cutscenes, 2K Games has announced 5 WWE 2K24 DLC packs coming to the game soon. The fun part is that we have no idea what the DLC packs will have so that’s what today’s article is all about: Things we hope to see in WWE 2K24 DLC.

When it comes to predictions, everyone has their own guesses and wishes. A lot of you may be wishing for characters like the Great Khali to be added for his iconic corner slap, while others are looking towards more recent and prominent characters like the Wild Samoans. Regardless of what everyone wants, we’ve compiled some of the top predictions made by the community on mediums like Reddit. Let’s see what the players want to see in WWE 2K24 DLC.

Now these are just some of the predictions we’ve managed to collect and some from our personal wishlist for WWE 2K24 DLC. It should be noted that since the entire WWE 2K24 roster hasn’t been revealed yet either, we might see some of these characters added to the original roster and not in the WWE 2K24 DLC.

2K Games has already revealed that there will be 5 DLC packs being released post-launch but what, or who, exactly will be in those packs, we don’t know yet.

Anticipation for CM Punk in DLC Roster

We mentioned a lot of characters that we hope to see in the WWE 2K24 DLC packs, but one that needs to be talked about specifically is CM Punk. CM Punk is a returning wrestler to WWE who made a comeback in late November. Now, being added after late November to the base roster of WWE 2K24 seems kind of unlikely since things were already in process by then. However, many are eagerly awaiting his announcement in the WWE 2K24 DLC packs.

Other returning stars that might be seen in the DLC could include Carlito and Kairi Sane, both of whom returned to WWE around the same time period as CM Punk. Their introductions in the DLC packs could really make things interesting since they’ve already got a history in the industry.

Finally, we should talk about Jade Cargill as well. The reason why Jade is so interesting is because, while she’s been signed by WWE since September, she is yet to make her debut in the ring. That means developers of WWE 2K24 have no idea what her entrance or move-set looks like. Once she has made her debut in the WWE arena, she can easily be added to any of the DLC packs.

Celebrity Guest Wrestler Part of WWE 2K24 DLC

Another pleasant surprise we saw was 2K Games announcing Post Malone as a celebrity guest wrestler in WWE 2K24 DLC. The singer and songwriter will be featured in the DLC pack as a guest wrestler and is also the executive soundtrack producer. The full playlist for WWE 2K24 was made in collaboration with Post Malone and other reputable names like Busta Rhymes, Grimes, Turnstile, etc.

Now don’t expect Post Malone’s character to do crazy stunts like backflip off the top rope or perform suplexes on the Big Show. But it definitely adds an interesting aspect to the game by making celebrities playable characters. Other significant characters to already be added in the WWE 2K24 DLC are prominent boxing legend, Muhammad Ali, and demonic alter-ego, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.

After Bray Wyatt’s passing last August, many debated whether or not he would be included in the latest edition of the WWE video game but 2K Games made sure not to miss him on the roster.

The Takeaway

The WWE 2K24 DLC is shaping up to be a rollercoaster ride with so many returning as well as new characters making their debut in the game. How the odds stack up against each character is yet to be seen as the ratings slowly make their way to the community. Until the game is fully released, we can only speculate on what is yet to come.
