Last Epoch Release Date

Last Epoch is coming off Steam’s Early Access to be added to Steam’s game list finally. This is a big change for both players and developers but we’re hoping it will do great. The official Last Epoch release date is February 21, 2024. Fans are definitely hyped as the beta version and early access were very successful. Now, with the full version being released, we’ll get to see all the action unfold at once.
Lost Epoch 1.0 will allow us to delve into another world full of dungeon crawling and captivating character customisation that will get you hooked. Eleventh Hour Games has already mentioned that the game will receive frequent updates to keep gameplay fresh and shake up the meta. At launch, you’ll see tons of new features including two Item Factions and end-game content.
Their previous release date for December had to be pushed back unfortunately due to the large number of games being released at that time. A comfortable February Last Epoch release date ensures a smooth transition from the early access version to the full version. These few months allowed them to further refine the game system and bring us an uninterrupted gaming experience.

Last Epoch’s Journey: From Reddit Thread to Steam Release
Last Epoch has had a very interesting road to success, especially considering where it started from. The indie game’s idea was first formulated by a team of game developers in 2017 but it wasn’t the who or when that was interesting, it was the where. A subreddit called r/gamedev was where developers of the future Eleventh Hour Games met and came up with an idea to make the best ARPG out there.
Struggled for resources, they went on Kickstarter looking for financial help to fund their idea. The Kickstarter was successful and generated enough funds for them to get to work. After 18 months of putting their heads together to come up with something great for the community, Eleventh Hour Games finally put their vision to the test. They first released a free playable demo of the game as a test drive to see how the community responded in 2018.
In 2019, they took Last Epoch one step further and made the game’s beta version available on Steam’s Early Access. The game was received with open arms by players and sold over 1 million copies. This urged the developers to push for an official Last Epoch release date. Now with the release date just over the horizon, we’re excited to see what changes and updates will be made to the full version of the game at launch.
Update Cycles Post-Launch

Just because developers are finally launching the full version of the game does not mean they’re going to put a pause on regular updates. Eleventh Hour Games has already stated that they intend to add frequent quality-of-life changes to the game in order to keep gameplay fresh. This will be done in the form of updates ‘Cycles’ which will be added to the game every few months.
It will bring along numerous additions to the game ranging from refinements to different aspects of the game to new end-game content and unique skills. You can also check out their roadmap to see what they have in store for the coming month of February, after the Last Epoch release date.

With the Last Epoch release date, inching closer and closer, we’ll finally be able to play the full version of the game soon.
