The highly anticipated Apple Vision Pro shipping is just around the corner, it will start on February 2nd, and it’s pumping up the hype for enthusiasts. Not only the popular Apple services such as Apple Music, Mindfulness, Notes, Messages, Photos, Safari, Shortcuts, Freeform, and Keynote, etc. be available, but in this article, we’re to raise out the widely used meeting app, Zoom, on the Vision Pro. Zoom calls on Apple Vision Pro are going to be a whole lot different compared to it being used on laptops and smartphones.
How Are Zoom Calls on Apple Vision Pro?
Zoom introduced a new application tailored for Apple Vision Pro on Monday, January 29th, aiming to provide users with a more immersive and lifelike environment during Zoom video calls, as stated by the video conferencing company.
This app allows users to employ their “Persona”, a digital avatar created from facial scans, during video calls. This unique feature enables the recipients of the call to perceive facial expressions and hand movements as if the user is not wearing a headset, akin to the experience provided by Apple’s FaceTime app on the Vision Pro.

Through Personas, Apple Vision Pro users are portrayed in calls with an authentic spatial representation of themselves, enabling other participants to observe their facial expressions and hand movements, even without a dedicated camera capturing them.
