Goat Simulator 3, the humorous and chaotic open-world sandbox game where players control a goat and engage in absurd and outlandish activities, is reportedly receiving a Nintendo Switch Port, set to release on November 7th 2024.
First spotted by Nintendo Everything, an Amazon Japan page dedicated to the Switch port of Goat Simulator 3 went live in early August 2024, hinting at a release date of November 7th with physical and digital editions.
However, the retailed page has since been removed, and the page is no longer available for viewing. Nevertheless, the listing of said game brings hope to Nintendo Switch users to experience the absurd yet addicting masterpiece, Goat Simulator 3.

What to Expect From Goat Simulator 3 Nintendo Switch Release?

Before Amazon or the Lister took down the listing, the game’s Nintendo Switch port stated that Plaion, an Embracer Group subsidiary, formerly Koch Media, would publish the game. For those who never heard of the company, it is responsible for MotoGP 21, Redeemer and the Undisputed boxing game.
In addition to the release date, Goat Simulator 3’s Nintendo Switch port will reportedly include the Digital Downgrade DLC. Originally released alongside the game, the DLC features “random goat garbage” from additional costumes to a digital version of the game’s soundtrack for an extra $10.
Thus, we can expect the game to go for $29.99 when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch, promising players the equal enjoyment of experiencing Mandatory Holiday Update, Operation Crackdown and the Shadiest Update.
Everything to Know About Goat Simulator 3
History and Present
Before Goat Simulator 3’s official release, Coffee Stain had already rocked the world with the original Goat Simulator, as the adventure simulator received multiple positive reviews, with a 9/10 on Steam.
While people were expecting Goat Simulator 2, the developers continued the series tradition of absurdness as they skipped it and went straight to 3 by making fun of Dead Island 2 at the 2022 Summer Game Fest.
Fast forward to the time of writing this, the game is sitting on a 10/10 rating on Steam and rightly so, as it builds on the chaotic and comedic foundation of the original game, offering players a larger world, more features, and multiplayer fun.
Selling Point and Gameplay

The game’s name immediately hinted at the wacky premise of the sequel as it includes over-the-top humour, including bizarre physics, unexpected events, and silly Easter eggs. For example, the game doesn’t take itself seriously, often making fun of game tropes and mechanics, which is a big part of its charm.
Besides mocking the simulation genre and video games, the game features exaggerated rag-doll physics, making every interaction with the environment hilariously unpredictable. The physics system is intentionally wonky, leading to unexpected and often comical results.
In addition, referencing what we mentioned earlier, Coffee Stain made a significant improvement to its multiplayer mode, allowing payers to join up to three friends in local or online co-op to explore the world together, complete objectives, and engage in multiplayer-specific activities, such as minigames and races. Customisation options also add to the game’s fun, allowing for silly combinations and personal expression.
Lastly, the game’s setting in a large, open-world environment filled with interactive objects, NPCs, and secret areas allows players to roam around and cause mayhem wherever and whenever. For example, players can kick a ball, ride a skateboard, launch a car into the sky and launch themselves off ramps to knock over pedestrians and destroy property.
Parting Notes
While the rumours of a Goat Simulator 3′ Nintendo Switch port release date can be untrue, the chances for one are not far off, as the original game reached Nintendo’s console in January 2019. Although people on the platform needed to wait five years, it was worth it.
On the other hand, if the rumours are true, players will receive the game ten days shy of its second anniversary, which could hint at a potential celebration event. Regardless, players can anticipate the arrival of the ridiculousness and light-hearted, carefree experience, delivering plenty of laughs and nonsensical fun.
