Episode 7 Act 2 brought transformative updates to Valorant, ranging from a meta-changing amount of agent nerfs/buffs to a new map called Sunset. However, what often gets overlooked in this new wave of content is the Imperium Skin bundle, which has to have one of the best finishers we’ve ever seen so far.

Imperium Skin Bundle Items
The Imperium Skin Bundle counts as one of the more premium bundles, with VFX, Sound Effects, and Finishers for each Valorant gun contained in it. It costs a total of 8700 VP, rivalling well-known bundles like the Glitchpop and RGX 11z Pro bundles. Although expensive, let’s break down what exactly comes in this bundle and whether or not it’s worth your money.
Imperium Operator

The Imperium Operator goes a long way to make you feel that you have an absolute beast in your hand. Its killing sound effect is profound and satisfying, making it an excellent pick for your Jett/Chamber Operator ace clips. Its best variant has to be the Obsidian one, and if you choose to buy it solely, it’ll cost you 2175 VP and 45 Radianite to obtain.
Imperium Sheriff

The Imperium Sheriff is a great sidearm to pair with your Operator or just run on save rounds. Its pull-out animation is awe-inspiring, to the point that it serves as a great opener into those 1v5 situations where five bullets are all that a Sheriff demon needs! Its best variant is undoubtedly the Pearl one, and if you choose to buy it solely, it’ll cost you 2175 VP and 45 Radianite to obtain.

Imperium Vandal

The Imperium Vandal is what you’ll probably end up using the most out of this bundle, especially if you prefer landing headshots as opposed to executing tight spraydowns. Every variant suits it quite well, except the default one, since it starkly resembles the default Oni Vandal. Thus, if you wish to unlock the three good variants, it’ll cost you 2175 VP (To buy the skin) and 75 Radianite.
Imperium Judge

The Imperium Judge could be passed upon since it’s generally one of the least-used guns in the game compared to the rest. Unless you love playing close corners on defence, are elite at closing distances with Raze’s double satchel, or have Dasnerth as your role model, the 2175 VP is worth reconsidering. As far as its variants go, the Ruby variant suits annoying yet top-fragging judge players the most.
Blades of Imperium

The bundle’s knife is perhaps the most underwhelming, as it has no special pull-out or inspection animations that we haven’t seen before on similarly shaped melee skins. You are much better off saving those 4350 VP on the Araxys Bio Harvester, Blade of the Ruined King/Blade of Chaos, RGX 11Z Pro Blade, RGX 11z Pro Firefly, Reaver, EP 5 Karambit/Ion Karambit, or Terminus A Quo. The only reason you should get it is if you’re buying the entire bundle.
Imperium Spray

The Imperium Spray is actually quite cool, playing off the strongest aspect of the bundle’s theme, the Chinese dragon. On its own, it costs 325 VP, despite being free if bought with the rest of the bundle.
Imperium Card

The Imperium Card, just the spray, is great because it directly plays into the bundle’s central theme. It costs 325 VP on its own but is completely free if purchased with the entire bundle.
Imperium Buddy

The Imperium Buddy is very cute, featuring a miniature version of the Chinese dragon. However, if you were expecting something as fearsome as the spray or card, you may have to pass on solely buying this for 375 VP. Of course, it comes for completely free if you cash out for the entire bundle.

Is the Imperium Bundle Worth It?

If you are an avid Jett/Chamber main or enjoy playing the Operator on defence or Sheriff of pistol/save rounds, then this bundle is definitely worth buying. The impeccable sound design and majestic visual effects you get on the Vandal, Operator, and Sheriff will definitely freshen up your games.
On the other hand, if you want to buy only one skin from this entire bundle, then go for the Vandal. Not only is the Vandal one of the most used guns in the game, but having that breathtaking Chinese dragon finisher in your arsenal will definitely instil confidence in you whenever you’re having a bad day at the game.
Conclusion
Despite following up the Champions 2023 bundle (Centred around one of the most successful Esports events in history), the Imperium Skin Bundle delivers where things matter. Its sound effects and VFX make for some of the best Operator, Sheriff, and Vandal skins we’ve ever seen, particularly with the finisher that only asserts dominance on the battlefield.
Frequently Asked Questions
How Much Radianite Will It Cost Me to Fully Upgrade the Bundle?
Before calculating, it’s useful to recall that the bundle has a total of five weapons, each with three additional variants on top of sound effects, VFX, and a finisher. As such, it will cost you 75 Radiante to fully upgrade any one of the weapons and 375 VP to fully upgrade the entire bundle.
Do the Pearl and Ruby Variants Suit the Imperium Operator?
Not quite. The Imperium Operator’s Pearl and Ruby greatly resemble the Origin Operator’s White and Red Variant, respectively, and, as such, do not give off very original vibes. However, suppose originality is of no concern to you. In that case, only the Pearl variant can be considered, as it ties in with the majestic theme, whereas the Ruby variant is excessively red and bright.
When Will the Imperium Bundle Expire?
The Imperium Bundle will expire on the 20th of September, after which the next bundle will hit the shop. After that, you’ll only be able to get the skins contained inside the bundle through the regular shop rotation if you’re lucky enough. Of course, if you plan on collecting the whole bundle later, then it’s more economical to buy it now as the knife, gun buddy, card, and spray come for free.
