Life by You Early Access Release Date
Paradox Interactive have been working hard on producing, as they say, “The most moddable game” ever. Set to rival The Sims 4, Life by You early access is aimed at bringing players the first glimpses of the new title. It was first rumoured to be released on September 12th 2023, but developers had other ideas they wanted to implement in-game. Due to the additional features, they pushed back the Life by You early access release date by six months to March 5th 2024.
The main reasons for the delay were some visual improvements and improved features Paradox Interactive wanted to include in the game before they released the early access version. They’ve stated that the main goal of the early access period is to receive accurate feedback about the gameplay and in-game features, rectifying all of those before the full game goes live.
This isn’t to say the early access has their half-hearted efforts. Life by You is aiming to surpass The Sims 4 in the life simulation gaming genre, where players can build their entire world around their wishes and desires. Paradox Interactive has been consistently trying to balance out the game in a way that is enjoyable for everyone with as few restrictions as possible. What the game actually looks like will only be seen once the early access is released.
How Long Will Life by You Early Access Period Be?
We mentioned that the early access for Life by You is estimated to be about a year long, and for good reason. Life by You is a life simulation game, meaning people want everything that happens in real life to be included in the game. Now, everyone has different expectations and experiences, making it pretty hard to get it right on the first try. The 12-month early access period will allow developers to collect data and feedback from players to better the game.

The first 100,000 Life by You early access players will be able to give their valuable input on Life by You’s private Discord server. Not only will their input be highly valuable to additions to the game, but they will also get sneak peeks about the new upcoming features developers are thinking of trying out. These players will act as a control group of sorts, representing the greater gaming community.
Of course, this period is only approximate and can definitely be changed at any point in time. Once the purpose of the early access is completed, which is to gather feedback, Paradox Interactive will look to make the shift from Life by You early access to Life by You’s full game release. As of yet, we only have the Life by You early access release date, so let’s focus on that for the time being.

Pre-order Price List for Life by You Early Access
Even though the full game is pretty far out for now, the pre-order services have opened up for players to book the game beforehand. The introductory price is $39.99 or £34.99, and you can find the game on the Epic Games story online.

For those wondering whether the Life by You early access and full game packs are different, they are not. However, if any significant changes are made in Life by You early access period, they will be communicated beforehand by Paradox Interactive.
